Vinita Schroeder, M.D., is dedicated to excellent patient care and comfort. Her private practice in Highland Park, Park Cities Skin Care, is known for its boutique, spa-like atmosphere that relaxes patients and offers personalized treatments and individual attention. Vinita Schroeder, MD completed her undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Schroeder received her medical degree from UT Health Science Center San Antonio. |
| She completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She completed her fellowship in pediatric and adult Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She became board certified in Pediatrics in 1995 and Allergy and Immunology in 1997. Following her fellowship Dr. Schroeder began her private practice in 1997 in Rockwall, Texas. She moved her practice to Highland Park in 2004. Treating many allergic dermatologic diseases that overlap in both fields of allergy and dermatology, Dr. Schroeder's interest grew in helping patients with acne, rosacea, and eczema. Having a full-time medical aesthetician, Emily Slack, on staff has been an asset to this area of her practice. Dr. Schroeder’s interests expanded into the aesthetic realm in 2002. She has been extensively trained in the areas of Botox, fillers, and lasers. In 2004, Dr. Schroeder teamed up with Dr. Maurice Dray, a world-renowned dermatologist from Paris, France. Dr. Dray has been a pioneer in cosmetic medicine for the past 25 years, and Dr. Schroeder was fortunate to have been trained on many of his anti-aging French techniques and procedures. She has incorporated all of the cutting edge cosmetic treatments into her practice to provide a customized treatment program for her clients. Dr. Schroeder personally spends time educating her patients on their disease and treatment plan. She is committed to continuing education, training and research to provide patients the very latest developments in her fields of interest. The relationships that she builds with her patients along with the personalized care and attention that she gives is comforting. Dr. Schroeder is available after hours for any emergency that may arise. Dr. Schroeder is a Clinical Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern and is active in a number of local and national organizations including The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and The American American College of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Schroeder and her husband Dr. Jim Schroeder reside in Highland Park with their two sons, James and Sam. |

Emily Slack

Emily Slack is a licensed aesthetician and certified laser technician bringing ten years of experience to the Aesthetics field. Upon graduation from University of Mississippi in 2001 she attended Aveda Institute for her esthetics licensure. She is here to deliver results-oriented treatments that target anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, and acne treatments, and at the same time meet the individual goals of her patients. |
| Working and training with a number of industry professionals, she has been able to build knowledge and understanding in medical aesthetics, and believes in working with her clients needs and desired outcomes to customize a treatment plan with realistic expectations and best possible results. With a background in Plastic Surgery aesthetics, the medical field continues to fascinate her, which has lead to continued education and advanced training beyond her general certification. Emily has been thoroughly trained in product knowledge so she is able to assess each patient's skin care needs and recommend a proper at home regimen to give patients the results they strive for. She is trained in and performs results oriented services such as Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels, Laser Hair Removal, Photofacial, and Fractional CO2 Treatments. |
